About the ADA
The Antiques Dealers'
Association of America, Inc. was established in May 1984 as a non-profit
trade association, committed to furthering the
professionalism of those involved in the business
of buying and selling antiques. The ADA also
functions in an educational capacity providing
information, lectures and seminars on various topics
concerning antiques. Toward this end, the
Association has developed an interactive educational
program, Let Knowledge Be Your Guide.
In 2002, the ADA established an annual dinner
event honoring one exemplary member of the antiques
community. This highly anticipated event, which
is held at The Philadelphia Antiques Show, has
become a major celebration for the diverse members
of the antiques community.
